Chateau Greysac Bordeaux

On my 32nd birthday I was given my first Bordeaux, Chateau Greysac. Now I am in my 60's but even today when I sip on this fabulous wine I am reminded of  the craftsmanship that carries throughout  each vintage. It greets you as a medium bodied wine with a dark garnet color, with a  light  bouquet from the essence of it's fruit. It's taste profile is very similar to what it tasted like some 30 years ago, lots of black fruit and plum, with a  hint of smokeyness on the finish. Very affordable and sold many places under $25.

Chateau Blaignan Bordeaux

Chateau Blaignan  is one of the oldest producers in the Medoc region of Bordeaux..
This wine is 55% Cabernet and 45% Merlot and presents itself as a well balanced wine
with a medium body. Rich ruby color and flavors of blackberry, vanilla with a hint of pepper
on the finish. This is a great buy for under $20.
