What I especially like about this wine is that the citrus comes more to light on the center of your palate than on the front. This wine is definitely a Best Bang for Your Buck, as it is not only delicious, but can be purchased for under $15.

Just this past week a good friend shared with me that she wanted to find a crisp white wine for the warmer weather that is headed our way soon and that was some what reasonably priced, so I suggested that she might try a crisp but smooth Sauvignon Blanc like Cannonball Sauvignon Blanc. This Sauvignon Blanc has aromas and flavors of honeydew melon, freshly cut lemons and limes with a pinch of white pepper. What I personally like other than the delicious flavors is the texture as it is smooth and the citrus flavors land in the center of your palate. This wine has the perfect texture to be enjoyed with a wide range of food accompaniments and pairs well with fish tacos, sushi, and any pasta with light sauces. |
